Live show ‘ Gugulaí Gug’
A family concert was held on Sunday 27 April at 3 pm in the Gaelscoil, Scoil Uí Cheithearnaigh, in Ballinasloe.  It was a lively presentation of the book ‘Gugalaí Gug’, one of the best selling Irish language publications in recent years.
It was a privilege to have Tadhg Mac Dhonnagáin and members of his family, Éabha, Tadhg Óg and Róise on stage providing a superb performance of songs and various verses from the book.  The audience received a taste of songs such as Futa Fata that made many children dance and have fun throughout the concert.
Gaeilge Locha Riach was honoured to welcome Mac Donnagáin and his family to present this vigorous concert.
It was obvious that everybody enjoyed the show ‘Gugulaí Gug’ and that local people would soon like to see the performers back in their district.
